The authentication process is carried out by professionals with years of experience in the world of fashion and luxury goods, from both retail and production standpoints.

The process is divided into several steps. It involves ensuring not only that the items are genuine, but also that they are in the best condition possible and have lost none of their original allure.
&nbsp;
Our team do a comprehensive, detailed appraisal of the products, referring to the production standards of the specific brands. They take into account the special characteristics and quality of the models, materials and handicraft techniques required to make them, as well as the presence of serial codes.

Our boutique partners are carefully selected and are specialized in the selling of luxury items. The products sold by the boutiques are authentic considering they come directly from the original maison, while the items that come from private sellers are firstly checked and authenticated by our team of experts.

We collaborate with worldwide boutiques. They are selected partners, active for many years in the world of luxury fashion.

Items that do not meet our product <a href="{{STORE_BASE_URL}}sell/acceptance-standards/" title="acceptance standards">quality criteria</a> detailed below will be rejected.
&nbsp;

 <li>We do not accept items with significant signs of wear. Items will be rejected if they are broken, noticeably deformed or damaged, stained, have noticeable holes, or which show signs of piling. Any items which have been altered or customised in non-professional ways will also be rejected.</li>
 <li>All items including shoes must be washed, clean and free of odours. Garments should be ironed or they may be rejected.</li>
 <li>Shoes will not be accepted if there are clearly visible footprints on the inner sole, or if they carry any residue or insoles.</li>
 <li>All items will need to carry their brand label * We do not accept seconds or samples.</li>

Once received, your item will be assigned one of the following condition levels:
- Like new with tag (in perfect condition with tag) - Excellent (in perfect condition and without tag) - Very good (moderate signs of wear) - Good (visible signs of wear)

Our experts carefully inspect every item to ensure its quality, authenticity and resale condition. We assign one of the following condition levels to each accepted item:
- New with tag (in perfect condition with tag)
- Excellent (in perfect condition without tag)
- Very good (moderate signs of wear)
- Good (visible signs of wear)

An item that is New With Tag is a product that has never been used or worn and comes directly from private sellers or from selected boutique partners.

Our new with tag items come both from private sellers and from selected boutique partners with which we collaborate. The items are discounted because they can come from private sellers or from boutiques but are old collections that follow precise discount schemes.

If the original packaging and documents are available, it will be stated in the product description.

Our team of experts determine the initial selling price at their discretion by evaluating each individual item and taking various parameters into account: brand, product category, the year it was made, color and condition. Our meticulous evaluation process enables us to set the right market price for the items.

All&nbsp;prices showed in the checkout include custom duties and import&nbsp;taxes, hence customers are not required to pay any additional costs to receive their purchases.

Ordering by phone is not currently possible.

You can send offers to the sellers clicking &ldquo;Make an offer&rdquo; directly on the page of the item you are interested to buy. The seller will have 48 hours to accept your offer before it expires. She can also choose to send you a counteroffer, which you can accept, decline or reply with your further counteroffer. 
When your offers or counteroffers are accepted by a seller, or when you accept a seller&rsquo;s counteroffer, you&rsquo;ll have 48 hours to finalize the purchase. In the meantime the item will remain available for other buyers at the original price and the seller can receive other offers.

You don&rsquo;t need to create an account to place an order. However, we suggest you to create one to enjoy a personalised shopping experience and make purchases more quickly&nbsp;and easily thanks to your saved details.

To purchase an item on Lampoo.com:
- Select the item you&rsquo;re interested in from the catalogue
- From the product page, click Add to Cart to add the item to the cart
- When your shopping session is finished, click Your Cart and Go to Checkout
- Enter shipping details then select your shipping type and one of the payment options
- Check if the information has been entered correctly and click Complete Order.
 You will receive a confirmation e-mail with all the order details. Our warehouse will take care of everything from here. As soon as the order is shipped, we will send another e-mail to let you know.

Once an order is placed, the details cannot be altered. If you wish to purchase additional items, you'll need to place a new order. If you change your mind about an item you have purchased, you'll need to follow our returns procedure.

Because we want to deliver your items as soon as possible, we process orders in real-time. This means we are unable to cancel orders once they have entered the shipping process, but you'll be able to return it following our returns procedure.

We&rsquo;ll send you a confirmation email soon after you&rsquo;ve placed your order and you&rsquo;ll receive another communication after your order has been shipped. If you have created an account, you&rsquo;ll be able to check the order status at any time logging-in to your account.

In order to offer all our customers the chance to purchase their favourite products, items can't be reserved or placed on hold indefinitely. We suggest you to create your personal Wishlist.

Lampoo.com accepts the following payment methods: 
Credit Card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Visa Electron, prepaid credit cards, authorized Maestro cards.
PayPal: clicking the Pay with PayPal button redirects you to the PayPal login page. Enter your e-mail address and password to complete the payment procedure. You will be able the select the card you want to use from among those saved previously on PayPal (procedure handled directly by PayPal). 
User credit card details will not be saved on the platform. 
A payment confirmation e-mail will be sent to the user upon completion of payment. 
Cash on delivery: method available for Italy and Germany only, for amounts below &euro;999.&nbsp; 
At the time of the delivery, you must have the exact amount of cash indicated in the shipping confirmation e-mail. Couriers cannot give change and do not accept cheques. For any possible refunds, a current/checking account or post office account must be indicated. 
This payment method involves a &euro;6 surcharge for Italy and &euro;8 for Germany. 
Site Credit: if you have Site Credit available, you can specify whether you would like to use part or all of it.

This payment method is available in Italy and Germany.

You'll be charged as soon as the order is completed.

We currently accept 11 currencies: AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, EUR GBP, HKD, JPY, KRW, SGD, USD.

We prepare and ship your orders rapidly&nbsp;and make express deliveries to 80 countries worldwide.

At Lampoo we care both about your purchases and the environment.&nbsp;We package items carefully so that they reach you in perfect condition, with minimal impact on the environment. Dedicated packaging will be included in certain circumstances, depending on the type of item you choose.

As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you&rsquo;ll receive an e-mail with the tracking number to trace your order at all times. If you have created an account, you can also trace the shipment of your order logging in to your account.

Unfortunately,&nbsp; is not possible to choose a specific time or day. You may in any case attempt to arrange the delivery by contacting the courier directly, providing the tracking number you received in the confirmation e-mail.

Our priority is to offer you the very best shopping experience. That&rsquo;s why we guarantee the possibility to return an order that doesn&rsquo;t meet your expectations and you won&rsquo;t bear any additional cost to return your order.&nbsp; 
You can request return of items purchased on lampoo.com no later than&nbsp;14 days&nbsp;from the date you received the order. 
You'll be refunded the total amount of your order, including any shipping costs incurred to receive it, you will be required to bear only the return shipping costs. 
Our team will examine returned items thoroughly, verifying their eligibility for return.
 Every item returned must comply with our standards:
- Items must be returned in the same condition they were in when they were received, taking care not to remove the tags from them.
- Items must be returned with the original boxes where applicable.

 Items returned without the anti-tamper seal and tag with barcode will not be accepted.

Returning a Lampoo order is quick and easy. 
If you placed the order through your account, here's what you need to do:

Remember that you can only ship your return from the country where you made the order.

Returns are normally processed and refunded within 3 working days of receipt at our premises. If the return is accepted and the refund process begins, you will be notified via e-mail and on your account profile.

Yes, those costs will be refunded, however you will be required to bear the return shipping costs.

We offer our sellers different payment method options:

 A sale is confirmed 14 days after the buyer receives the item, providing the buyer does not exercise their right of return.

Site Credit is one of the payment methods for sellers. It&rsquo;s like a virtual wallet you can use to make purchases on Lampoo.
 Site Credit can also be requested as refund of your return, in case you would not like to receive the amount on the same payment method used to purchase.

Lampoo makes it very easy to sell your clothes and accessories through its quick, effective service. It only takes a few clicks to consign your items, then you can leave the rest to the Lampoo team of experts. Your items will be handled on a consignment basis: you maintain ownership until they are sold on our website. The service works as follows:

 <li>Consign your articles choosing the service that suits you best: free at-home pick up, DHL drop off point, at-home or virtual appointment with a Luxury Expert, or visit us in our boutiques.</li>
 <li>Choose how much you want to sell your items for. We&rsquo;ll send you our recommended selling price to help you decide if you&rsquo;re not sure.</li>
 <li>Our experts will take excellent care of your items, certifying their authenticity and condition. We&rsquo;ll do everything else needed to sell your items quickly: photographs, listing, storage, and liaising with buyers.</li>
 <li>You can now relax and, once your articles are sold, decide whether to spend your earnings on Lampoo, benefiting from a 5% increase in earnings, or to receive the profits via wire transfer.</li>

Our service is completely free; we&rsquo;ll charge our selling fees only when your item is sold.
Our commission scheme is simple and allows you to earn the most, with the least effort. We take a percentage of the final selling price and we charge an additional fixed amount of &euro;20 per item, as a handling fee. For articles up to &euro;49 you&rsquo;ll pay only the fixed fee.
Example: if you sell an item for &euro;1,300, our commission will be 30% of &euro;1,300, equal to &euro;390, plus &euro;20, totaling &euro;410. Your payout will be &pound;890, or 68% of the selling price.

When you consign your products with Lampoo, you can set your own selling prices, but our team of experts will also send you a recommended selling price to help you define the right market value. You can also let Lampoo set the prices for you, and you can always adjust them later if you&rsquo;re not happy with them. In both cases, once the valuation process is completed, we&rsquo;ll invite you to log in to your account to check the prices of your items and to apply any price adjustments from there, no later than 5 days after receiving the communication from us; after 5 days, your items will be published. During the first three months of consignment, you will be also permitted to decrease or even increase your prices at any time directly on your account, meaning you&rsquo;ll have full control of the selling price. Starting from the 90th day of consignment, you&rsquo;ll only be able to apply price reductions.

In order to boost the sales of your items, we will apply a reduction policy to the initial selling prices starting from the 90th day since they have been put on sale. 
If an item remains unsold for 3 months after listing, we&rsquo;ll align the selling price to our recommended price. From there you&rsquo;ll be able to lower the price, but not increase it. From the 4th&nbsp;month onwards, we will apply price reductions as shown in the table here below.

We only accept women&rsquo;s clothing, shoes and accessories. Swimwear will only be accepted if never worn and with original tags attached. We DO NOT accept menswear and childrenswear, nor the following product categories:

We accept luxury vintage items that are iconic and represent the heritage, quality and creativity of the best-loved brands.

We don’t accept tailor-made and unlabelled items (brand label missing).

Should we find elements that do not correspond to the manufacturing standards of the brand, the seller will be asked to provide proof of purchase or authenticity. If Lampoo is unable to ascertain the authenticity of the item, it will be rejected and returned to the seller, who will be responsible for covering the cost of shipping of €9.90 and a handling fee of €4.90 for each item declined.
&nbsp;
Should the seller not arrange return within 45 days, the item will be destroyed.
The seller bears sole responsibility for the authenticity of items and must be aware of the laws in force regarding counterfeit goods. Lampoo cooperates with the relevant authorities and monitoring agencies to observe and apply these laws and regulations.

Once our team completes the quality control process, you will receive an e-mail notification where it will clearly indicate if an item has been rejected. If one or more items have been rejected for reasons related to authenticity, please look <a href="{{STORE_BASED_URL}}faq/">here</a>.
&nbsp;
If your items have been rejected because they are not included in our brand list, or because they do not meet our quality standards, you will be charged a processing fee of &euro;4,90 for each item declined, plus return shipping costs of &euro;9,90, if you choose to get them back. You can also decide to donate them to our charity partner.

Lampoo will only and exclusively accept dustbags, boxes and packaging that are associated with the product you sent and without significant signs of wear and tear.  

Any dustbags or boxes that are not original and/or not associated with the product you have sent will be disposed of by Lampoo after the box  has been opened.

Lampoo takes no responsibility for any personal items unintentionally delivered together with the products consigned.

It will be your responsibility to inform us of the presence of any personal items before the evaluation process begins.


To send us your items using our pre-paid shipping service, you can choose two options: 1. Free in-home pick-up 2. Free drop-off at a DHL Point In both cases, we will pay for your shipping so you&rsquo;ll need to print the prepaid shipping label and attach it to the package. For in-home pick up, you can choose the day and time slot that you want DHL to collect the package. If you would rather send it yourself, you can do so at a DHL Service Point. Place your items carefully in sturdy cardboard packaging and make sure to seal it completely. It is very important that the package does not get damaged or opened during shipping. As for the size of the package, please use a cardboard box that has a suitable amount of space to fit all of the items you are shipping.

If the packaging is not safely prepared, Lampoo does not guarantee responsibility for any damage or loss.

Lampoo is always liable for your items as soon as you’ve consigned them to us using any of the services we offer. 

Should one of your items get damaged or lost during delivery to our premises or after we took possession of them, or in our warehouse or during delivery to the buyers, it will be refunded.

Your items will be available for sale no later than ten days from the time they were shipped or picked up from your home.

During this time, we will process your items by completing all the steps required for publication: authentication, quality control, creating descriptive content and taking photos.

You can monitor the status of your items at any time in your account page.


This depends on many factors, the most important being the brand, product category, season and condition. An iconic item in excellent condition from a brand in high demand not only sells very quickly, but has a guaranteed high resale value.

An item is considered sold 14 days from when the buyer receives the item, providing the buyer has not exercised their right of return.

Yes. You can receive offers from buyers and these will be notified by e-mail. The consignment service starts the day that Lampoo receives your item and lasts 365 days. If your item is not sold in this period, you can request it be returned to you at no cost or that it be donated to one of the charitable associations we work with. In some cases, subject to agreement by both parties, the service may be extended for a time period to be defined.

You can request the return of your items at any time.

If the request is received within the first 90 days of the consignment service, the seller is responsible for covering the cost of return of €9,90 and a fixed commission fee of €25 for each item. After the first 90 days, Lampoo will bear the cost of return and the seller will not be charged commission fee.

We offer our sellers two different payment method options:

 <li>Store Credit is linked with each account: if you choose this payment method, you get an extra 5% on your earnings.</li>
 <li>Bank transfer Payments will be issued on 10th of each month for sales confirmed (according to confirmed order receipt date) between 1st and 15th of the previous month, and on the 25th of each month for sales confirmed between 16th day and the end of the previous month. The amount of time it takes to receive payment varies depending on the chosen payment method. A sale is confirmed 14 days after the buyer receives the item, providing the buyer does not exercise their right of return.</li>
