There are only a few luxury brands that truly value the art of craftsmanship, and Hermès is one of them. Thierry Hermès started the brand in 1837, creating leather goods that were beautifully made to his customer’s needs. Growing quickly throughout the beginning of the 20th century, the fashion house was then passed onto Robert Dumas, one of his sons-in-law, to lead. It was during his tenure that Grace Kelly was pictured with one of the bags he’d designed (naming it the Kelly after the princess), and their silk scarves became the most coveted accessory
